How Unity Connects
A simple tap, an instant experience
Every shirt dress from the Unity collection includes embedded NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, a seamless way to share the Unity experience without apps, downloads, or explanations.
When someone asks about what you're wearing, you invite them to tap their phone against the fabric. Instantly, Unity opens in their browser. The anthem plays, the story unfolds, and they discover what this project means.
How It Works
Tap your phone. Discover Unity.
The NFC tag embedded in each garment connects directly to the Unity website. When a smartphone touches the fabric, it opens the full experience: the anthem, the story, the collection, all in seconds.
No app required. No QR codes to scan. Just proximity, curiosity, and a tap.
It's designed to remove every barrier between interest and understanding. The technology disappears, and the experience remains.
Where It's Placed

The NFC tag resembles a small black button and is located on the backside of the gusset insert at the bottom side seam of the shirt dress. It's sewn into the garment's construction, keeping it completely invisible from the outside and unnoticeable during wear.
When someone wants to experience Unity, guide them to tap their phone near the lower side seam. The connection happens instantly.
Made with Choice in Mind
Prefer to go tech-free?
While each piece includes our signature NFC technology, we understand that some may prefer a more traditional experience.
The tag is sewn on and can be safely removed if you choose. If you'd like to return it to us after removal, simply include it with any correspondence. The tag is entirely non-intrusive and removing it will not compromise the shirt's structure or comfort.
The choice is yours. Unity adapts to how you want to wear it.
Designed to Last
No charging. No maintenance. No hassle.
The NFC tag requires no charging, batteries, or updates. There are no tracking capabilities. It's a passive element meant to be there when you want it, and easily ignored when you don't.
Durable for washing and drying. Built to last as long as the garment itself.
Why It's Included
Extending the message beyond the garment
This detail was designed to extend the message beyond what you wear, connecting the physical garment to sound, meaning, and shared experience.
Unity isn't just something you wear. It's something you can share.
The NFC tag transforms a question into a moment. A stranger's curiosity into a connection. A garment into a gateway.
That's why it's woven into every piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my phone need a special app?
No. NFC works natively on most modern smartphones (iPhone XS and newer, most Android devices from 2018+). Simply tap your phone to the garment, and your browser will open automatically.
Will it work if my phone case is on?
Yes, in most cases. Thicker cases (especially metal or wallet cases) may require you to hold the phone closer or remove the case briefly.
Can I turn it off?
The NFC tag is passive. It only activates when a phone is held directly against it. It's not broadcasting or active otherwise. If you prefer not to use it, you can remove it yourself without affecting the garment.
Does it track me or collect data?
No. The NFC tag does not track your location, collect personal data, or store information. It simply directs a phone to the Unity website when tapped.
What if I want it removed?
The tag is sewn into the care label and can be carefully removed at any time without damaging the garment. If you'd like to return the removed tag to us, you're welcome to include it with any correspondence.
How long does the tag last?
The NFC tag has no expiration date and requires no power source. It will function for the lifetime of the garment and can withstand normal washing and drying.
Experience It Yourself
Want to see how it works?
Order your shirt dress and discover it the moment it arrives. Hold your phone to the garment. Watch the experience open. Feel the connection happen.
